The educational best-selling comic series, "Ahre'le", is in actuality the life story of R' Aharon Margalit, and the morals thereof, processed for children, and transmitted as a comics series. This set of four books, has been reprinted numerous times, and has even been translated into several languages. (Yiddish, English, and more).
Other than R' Aharon, who else could truly understand and empathize with children? He, who has endured trials and tribulations and unfathomable hardships.
As a young lad, he experienced a trauma that left him stuttering heavily. Shortly thereafter, he contacted polio and after fighting for his life he was placed in a home for invalids where he remained for 5 (!) years in terrible solitude. Upon his release from that home he had to deal with his severe handicap, plus social disturbances, which were caused as a result of his stutter and his tragic past.
Aharon, with the help of his devoted mother, stood up to his difficulties with fortitude. He used his stumbling blocks to erect building blocks, and his challenges as a stepladder with which to rise to greatness. With loads of hope, aspirations and optimism, Aharon battled his own personal misery, and the unbelievable happened! Today he strides on his own two feet, speaks clearly and articulately, and is a very beloved and successful social figure. Would like to reveal to all of today's youth, the secret to success.
In his own words: And from the deepest recesses of my heart, I want to tell you, dear boys and girls; if I succeeded, with Hashem's help, to get up and walk on my own two feet, then each and every one of you can achieve and realize, all your hopes, your dreams, and your aspirations. I invite you to join me on this long and outstanding trek
